SCHOLARSHIPS
Helping You Pay for Your Education
The scholarships awarded by LTIS are donor-supported. Students must apply for these scholarships to be considered. The amount and timing of awards will be at the discretion of the Scholarship Committee (contingent upon the student's enrollment), based on the need and availability of funds.
REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY
The scholarships that are awarded by LTIS are donor-supported scholarships. Students must apply for these scholarships EACH ACADEMIC YEAR to be considered for the award.
Newly enrolled and returning students may apply, but continued eligibility is based on Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP), which includes a GPA of at least 3.0 for undergraduate students, a 3.5 for graduate students, and a 3.8 for post-graduate/doctoral students and passing all of the attempted classes. SAP is reviewed each quarter and awards will be adjusted accordingly.
Each student must complete the scholarship application, submit a personal statement (1000-1500 words), two letters or recommendation, transcripts of all educational attainment, and a writing sample between 7 & 10 pages for bachelor's programs; between 12 & 18 pages for master's programs; and between 20 & 25 pages for doctoral programs.
The amount and timing of awards will be at the discretion of the Scholarship Committee. Scholarship funds will not be awarded in excess of a student's charges for the term. Students must remain enrolled to be eligible for funds.
